Engine insulation mat true to the original
Fits all Porsche 911 from 1971 without rear spoiler.
The engine insulation mat corresponds exactly to the original. It consists of a jute core and the original burl coating. The visible edge is blackened. Due to the precise cutting and the clean cut-outs, a high fitting accuracy is achieved.

Processing instructions:
>The motor should be removed for gluing in the motor insulation mat. In the case of restored bodies, care must be taken to ensure that there are no excessive quantities of sealing compound in the lower support area of the engine insulation mat, i.e. where the rear wall of the emergency seats is connected to the rear main crossmember. With unrestored vehicles the old engine insulation is removed as residue-free as possible. For bonding use the MAH2 Profi-Special-Adhesive. The motor insulation mat must lie exactly against the lower edge and in the corner areas. The adhesive is first evenly applied with a brush to the lower area of the engine insulation mat and the corresponding area of the engine compartment rear wall up to the area of the kink (approx. 30cm). Now this area is glued directly with flat pressure. In the second step, the area of the kink is glued on both sides. Make sure that the motor insulation mat fits well in this area so that the final installation height is correct. Now glue the upper area, first fix the edge areas, then press the remaining total area evenly.
